It is a satisfying feeling just to know that you're my friend,
That no matter what's the trouble, that on you I can depend.
For the world can be full of sadness, and life's path is full of stones,
And a person's only comfort is the few real friends she owns.
When I hear your words beside me then my troubles start to mend,
And it's then I'm very grateful that I can truly call you friend!
For my life has been much sweeter since I've had you as a friend.
