The greatest disappointments in life come from unfulfilled expectations, unrealized dreams, and the only "tree" that will sweeten the bitter waters of disappointment is the Lord Himself. Only when your expectations are focused on God can you overcome the disappointments of life. He is an expert at healing the brokenhearted. Thus, your disappointment can become God's appointment to discover that He alone must be your pleasure, your desire, the focus of your heart's affection.
